Finally put flaps on her....HUGE difference. She is a full blown bush plane now! Too much fun.

  • They hold up fine. I have had about 5 pairs of these over the years Iand it takes along time to wear a set out. I ont even inflte mine, just let the tire equalize and they hold shape real well.

  • man i love cubs and your plane is one stunning example why,i didnt know the flaps would help so much on take off! what does your cub weigh?

  • I think it weighed in around 14 lbs.....also alittle head wind sure helps alot in distance too. There was mabe a 3-5 kt head wind during those flights. But either way flaps sure do shorten it up alot.
