Cohen OWNS this song...

I like Jeff Buckley`s rendition, his voice makes me think of an angel singing it.
I like K.D. Lang`s version, her voice puts passion in the song
I like Rufus Wainwright`s version he has heart
Leonard`s version is smooth and it has soul.

Jeff Buckley's is the best version, I love this one, though... The shrek one is crap
-
don't miss John Cale's version, he was the first to cover this.

Seen/heard the k.d.lang version? LC is the greatest, but k.d. sure does him full justice.

Wow, this is a great song but I had no idea the original was so terrible! The version used in the episode is a vast improvement. The one in "Shrek" is the best, though.

we're all entitled to our opinion. I had specific reasons for using this version.
1) the buckley version had been used on the show itself
2) I like Leonard Cohen
3) The Shrek one is too..shreky...but i love that version.
If I make another I shall use that as a guide.

there's a RW version! He's amazing. Did not know that...I may be using that soon! thanks. no offense taken. the only version besides the buckley that was used on the show that i didn't want to reuse it, and the shrek one.
