  • great~

  • @ydwoolala

of course it is.... glad that someone noticed that as well! Haha!

  • @sophiemeimei because it's obviously a "lip sync".

  • One of the classics. Oftenly heard in chinese movies. However where part requires crescendo were not not very well executed. But this guy got great control. I heard some of his fast pieces and I think he did them better.

  • I mean the C with no dot above or below (since he's using a C flute, that would be 3 fingers of the left hand). The ornament is done by using the index finger of the right hand on the next hole, but it's not really a trill because the pitch doesn't change, it's more of a "finger vibrato."

  • May I ask about the ornamentation this player is using on the middle C--sometimes doing a vibrato by adding the index finger? I haven't heard this used much in Chinese music, although it's commonly used in Irish and Baroque music (where I think it's called "finger vibrato" or "flattement").

  • Great playing. If you'd like to add the Chinese characters for the title of this piece, it's 姑苏行.

  • I'm quite impressed that you managed to breathe in the middle of a note.
