Belly Dance, Cris Basimah- 1

Cris Basimah work with Alexandra King and her dance group, "SEHER" was founded in 1995, and also work with the UCSB Middle Eastern Music Ensemble (www.music.ucsb.edu/mee/) under the direction of Dr. Scott Marcus as its segment dance. The UCSB Middle East Ensemble, conducted quarterly at Lotte Lehman Concert Hall and throughout the year in the community at various festivals, schools, private and corporate events.
Her program includes dance and music from the geographical regions of North Africa, Middle East, Central Asia, Greece and the Balkans. The genre includes folk dances, classical, religious and social. But the most popular oriental belly dancing. "Seher" is available to perform at private and corporate events, if anyone is interested.
