I believe he CAN be amazing.

The problem is he just doesn't give it his all. He gives up far too easily, and really has no confidence, both in himself and his teammates.

I can just hope he finds it in himself, that trust in the team. If he does, he will be amazing.

But right now, he is not good.

Carroll has to bet out of that mentality state when he does he wont be thinking of all the pressure around him, he will just think of how to get the ball in the net.

You obviously havent been following the last couple of games?

Carroll seems to have turned the corner .. his touch .passing and desire to win the ball have improved tenfold.

You have no idea what a difference being low in confidence and having such huge pressure on you can do to a person. No matter how much money someone gets paid ..they're still people. For other examples check out what happened to the touch - passing and finishing of Torres.

I'm a Liverpool fan, but I really have to say I don't believe that he will progress.

Have you seen some of the touches he produces? For a professional footballer? Some of my mates could take the ball out of the air more effectively than he can. Absolutely abysmal.
