We will venture deep into this rumored haunted gold mine and visit 3 different shafts, one of which drops down to over 900 feet. Learn how the hardiest of men labored feverishly looking for GOLD ! Chiseling their way through the mountainside inch by inch, with the most primitive of tools and working by candlelight.

The lunch stop at our Old West Town will take you back in time, featuring foundations from one of the original Mining Camps of the 1800s. Enjoy a delicious BBQ Lunch (Spring/Summer Lunch is Picnic Lunch) under our covered Pavilion, listening to the sound of a natural spring that furnishes precious water to the desert wildlife in the area. This natural spring attracts big horn sheep, the kit fox and a variety of desert wildlife, so look closely as not to miss the creatures that blend into the natural landscape of the desert.

I was just in El Dorado Canyon last weekend and explored the many abandoned mines there on my own. I'm sure the guided tour is "nice", but the real mines are the abandoned ones. Video of my exploration of the mines in El Dorado Canyon and around Nelson, NV is on my channel.

I would recommend that anyone going to Vegas should not pass this up. I went on the tour in March of 2008 and had a blast! Buckshot was a great tour guide!
