It's not that it's that much more difficult welding under-water, the problem is that your sandwhiches get wet,

Looks easy. Just learning to go under water and weld ,no problem You could throw out a line for supper too if you were in the ocean . Like multi tasking fish for super and weld all at the same time hehehe

@lilmaster514  Look up Divers Institure of Technology In Seattle Washington USA..... I read recently that they just relocated to a new facility with a totlaly updated Weldiing Lab Facility and it's the only school in the US that offers an openwater 200' surface supplied AIR deep dive and surface supplied 100' HeO2 deep dive in open water

This is cool to watch. & I've been welding for years, But I'd be damned if I tried under water welding.. How does it work? the arc stays inside a bubble? Not sure(& I said not sure) knowing my luck as soon as i scratched an arc my ass would get fried lol

yeah no oxygen, its air or mixed gas diving and the tank on your back isnt what your breathing, this is surface supplied diving, what you have on yourback is your bail out and if a shark even came near you and some how bit into your bail out and put a hole in it you would still be breathing.
