@MissPinkkAmerica Technology and fun is great. My church has that. I don't have a problem with that. I have a problem with entertainment being the focus instead of the Word. I've seen just as many people get turned off by the focus on entertainment in the church. If people really want truth, they won't care about the entertainment value of it. You don't give Christ a try, ie doing good works, traditions, rules; you come to know him by the Truth of his Word and he changes you inside and out.

I go to this church so mabye I can answer your question! If an athiest was looking to find hope and went to a boring church they would most likley leave still being an athiest, because they would think christianity is a boring thing. If they went to an entertaining church with technology, they may give it a try, and become a Christian. Many people think church is boring + dumb, because of all the technology these days So this is a place wherethey can find hope and others can get closer to God.

I'm 21 yr old student and I understand what you're saying but at the same time I can't agree with all. If it's boring but preaching the truth should it matter?

People who come out saying "Man! That was a good!" Are they excited by God's truth or loud energetic music? Yes we need fire but we shouldn't we be looking for the word of truth, not entertainment? Aren't we even more conformed this way? Isn't this just feel good gospel? Sincerely, Concerned Believer.
