i haven't commented on this video yet and don't have much to say in response to it since i mostly agree with your recommendations. so i will report instead that someone in my boarding house got a hamster, and it's manic and seems to be repeatedly biting the bars of its cage and i worry it's being neglected by its owner. we'll see what happens.

@splicegrrl I had hamsters as a child, and they just like to chew. If they are in a cage instead of an aquarium, they'll chew the bars. Does it have a wheel? Also, hamsters just want to escape and get eaten by a cat.

Is it a "too much" or a "not enough" thing, the rejection of 'feminism'? Like, is it that feminism has a rep for being pushy, or is it that the term doesn't combat kyriarchy, only patriarchy?

Or something else?

@effgeeveeree oh man, it's soooo uninteresting to me, like the horrible boring evolution vs creation debates.

Maybe it's sort of about the connotation of the term, like people who aren't assume it means I'm something that I'm not, and people who are might also assume specific things about my beliefs that don't line up 100%.

I hate how feminism has all these negative connatations now, which cause people to look down on it and not want to "embrace" it.

Obviously I am assuming that this is why you don't like the title feminist, I could be completely off the mark. This is just what I've found generally and it annoys me.
