DISCLAIMER: I own neither the songs, nor the characters portrayed in this clip, nor am I trying to promote any political favoritism. This clip was created out of popular demand, depicting the sinking of the German battleship Bismarck in May of 1941. This clip was also created using a number of resources during this historical period to be as accurate as possible and as much as the lyrics of the song with allow. It took a great deal of time and effort for each of the individual images to be drawn. Therefore, I do apologize for any inaccuracies there are on historical figures or the appearance of historical figures. I also do apologize for any offense that this video might have made, or has made. So, I beseech you all to grant mercy and post positive comments. Refrain from posting comments that are degrading or insulting to me, to the artists involved, or to demonstrate and justify a certain political stance. This clip was made to fit the song of Sink the Bismarck, by Johnny Horton, without bashing any of the individuals who fought in the Second World War, or were involved with the sinking of the Bismarck. Again, I do apologize for inaccuracies and insults that this clip might have made. I express no offense or insult and I mean none. Please be kind and comment positively.

Sincere Apologies and Deepest Respects,
LordDrakoArakis

  • you do good work. I love the shanties and such. excellent. tying these shanties to anime will bring our youth back to their roots in history.

  • good art work fits nicely with lyrics, enjoyed

  • The hairstyles are way out of period for the 1940s. Any WWII sailor with hair that long not on a submarine would be in trouble. Other than that, it's a cool video.

  • veary cool u sir got your self a subscriber

  • Very cleverly done and enjoyable. Minor point about the Ship's names on the Tallybands on the sailors caps. At the start of hostilities they were removed for security reasons..they just read HMS. Minor quibble, but bloody well done nevertheless

  • @NeronGlow I've never heard anything about this gold before. Are you sure? What is your source for this story?

If true, it raises some strange questions. Why were the Germans sending all this gold to Norway in the first place? Was it really 12,000 tons? You realise that a heavy cruiser weighs about that much. Why didn't Bismarck actually deliver the gold? It sailed right past the coast of Norway after all.

Is it possible you are confusing Bismarck with some other ship?

  • @bigcool89 One hell of a job ! Laugh at that.....

  • Anime Churchill. lol

  • The Bismarck sunk with 12.000 tons of gold that it was to deliver to a depot in the middle of norway, in todays money it would be $ 77,000,790,000,000.00 it was two-thirds of all the Nazi goldI do not like the Nazis but it was a lot of gold ಠ_ಠ

  • I must've really pissed-off some "Company Official's" here on You Tube ( Google ). As I've been trying to get the word out on the new Universal/Peter Berg "BATTLESHIP Movie" trailer postings though the comment section on all of them that said movie is a complete rip-off of the Legendary Anime series , STARBLAZERS. Created by Teiji Matsumoto. Or Star Battleship Yamato in Japan. My comments keep getting glitched or I get sent back to the Video Listing Page. They must be tracking me.
