One of those haunting movies that you never forget, truly a masterpiece. Simone Simon is stunning, and the spooky staring 'imposter' daughter Elizabeth Russell always creeps me out.

Jaques Tourneur and Robert Wise were geniuses. They were even better with Val Lewton to me, but even without him they were masters of the "fear of the unseen" style. Personally I liked Tourneur's work on Cat People a bit more than I Walked With a Zombie and The Leopard Man but those were still great too along with Night/Curse of the Demon. Robert Wise was also brilliant with this, the Body Snatcher, and The Haunting. Along with the Universal and Hammer films, these are my favorite horror movies.
