I just bought an 89 RRC for $3k. I really can not believe you can get these cars so cheap. I think they are under valued but i can't complain.

This one is an 89 as well. Have fun with it. Yes they do like the wrench but used parts are available through various forums online. Its a simple beast for the most part, just a few too many electronics.

@WedidLandONtheMOON I wasn't slagging off Jeeps at all, I actually like them. I was saying that you have to build a land rover to off-road spec to make them last. My friend races them off-road, his has a 5.2 V8 engine and it scares the shit out of me. P.S it's Hummers I don't like (for off-roading that is).

@fresky74. I know you wrote that comment a year ago but i just want to say the people that i know that have Jeeps have around 250,000 miles with the same engine and transmission. And they go off road alot. From rock climbing to mudding. But maybe its the beauty of the 4.0 Stright 6 engine. Its the best engine i think that was ever built.

@MrHynzie If you offroad them they don't, but if you spend over £19,000 you'll get one fully off road fitted and you can put them though anything :) If you buy one for less (and they go dow to as little as £9,000 brand new) they are only road worthy and all the parts are made by Ford so they won't even make it to the shops.
