@squeakyla I purchased a hand cart and walked to a store nearby to purchase cases of bananas. Great fitness! I had $200/month for food not included on my meal plan. My dining hall didn't have organic either. Just recognize that this is simply one small portion of your life and remain focused on where you'd like to go and you'll get there. Purchase your own organic bananas and then get salad at the dining hall. I switched to 80/10/10 as a senior in high school so I was at home.

So...I'm a college freshman wanting to start 80/10/10...I'm required to have a meal plan until next year at least so it seems a waste to not use it but there's obviously no organic fruit in the dining hall and they just wouldn't have enough, anyway t.t I also can't have a car here for the rest of this year. I'm wondering how you stick to 80/10/10 and any tips for a low budget? Also, how did you "come out" to your family you wanted to eat this way lol?

@norxcontacts I haven't. The textures in each variety are all so different that I like to enjoy the differences not only in taste but texture as well. Not to mention that some of these varieties have seeds and others don't, including some of the same variety, so one needs to be careful. Then again, you may eat them however you enjoy them.
