more critical reviews would be better. those games have weak sides too, and knowing them would be equally interesting.

s4 league should be in here. Black Prophecy is a great game, but not everybody can play it due to absurd system requirements.

I didnt like black prophecy so much. there is no ground interaction. being only in your ship makes the game too impersonal in my opinion and part of the fun of an mmo is to interact with all the other interesting characters.

'Concentration' mechanic is what fails BP the most. Everything you do takes concentration, and when its used up, just logoff cause you aren't wanted anymore. Do a few missions on higher levels and you're done for the day, go home, no crafting no nothing just logoff.

BP Cont:
There's no player freedom. Each 'sector' has a very strict and limited 'flyable space' and if you reach the edge of it then you're forcibly turned around back towards the flyable areas. Missions are rinse-and-repeat instanced waves of mobs or other things. There are about ~6ish types of missions so far.
Story is a joke, after you choose your faction you realize how lame the rest of the game really is.
Level 5 crit-crafted (yellow) engines > Level 40 high-end engines.
Balance? lol.

Black Prophecy has NO 'player freedom' or 'player customization' at all!
Crafting is a joke, every piece of gear looks the same and doesn't change the look of your ship that much until POSSIBLY at max level. I say possibly since only ~10 players total were at max level in the open beta. All those fancy awesome configurations you see in the trailers aren't possible right now, they're just concepts.
Everyone looks the same regardless of loadouts or equipment.
