JKD is basically an extension of Wing Chun. Many people will tell you it's hard to grasp the concepts of JKD without a good Wing Chun background. But yeah, mainly JKD focuses on intercepting your opponent before they attack, so keeping them at a distance. Wing Chun uses more circular movements. I think you could say Cing Chun is more soft and JKD is more hard style.

@WestCoastWanksta I know this is an oldish question, but the main difference in winch chun and jeet kune do is bruce lee realised that Wing chun works in very close ranges. Fighting in a bathroom as some put it. But for longer ranges it wasnt really suited. So he took the concepts of bridges and intercepting and developed a more medium/longer range style with these concepts. I personally feel secure with Wing Chun in pubs and crampt areas where u r uncomfortably close.

wish i had someone as good as you to learn from where i stay but its great you done these videos on YouTube that i can learn from step by step i will use these everyday to practice until death or my internet connection is cancelled haha i stay in a place where there is a lot of violence so i hope after practice the next time im in a situation i can't get out of without conflict that your videos will help me leave in one piece
