Another rather obscure late-70s recording by Oakland resident Carrie Cleveland, this LP 'Looking Up' contains a few great numbers of sparse sounding deep soul, such as the bouncing 'Love Will Set You Free', the mellow title track or the cheerful 'Make Love to Me', recently revived by Gilles Peterson in one of his ever-incredible compilations.
