I liked the video but there was some strange background noise & i can't figure out how to reinstate the ribbon to its original position at the top of the screen...
i was wondering if u can make all the commands here in 2009 by simply typing it in to the command line like the old versions instead of hunting the icons for the commands? anyone can help? pls reply your very much appreciated.. thanks!!
I'm glad adsk finally made this change...the 2009 version at last addresses the organizational and non-rudimentary complaints that so many people have had over the years. Personally I don't agree with those complaints but this was a HUGE public relations move and it will only help to draw more people toward acad.
how to hide and reveal the ribbon?

even if you minimize the ribbon there's that dead space left over, how can you expand the actual drawing window itself?

How do you make the background into black so you can see the white grid dots?

nevermind. you just type ribbon to open it (if you accidently closed it) and then drag it to the top of the screen...

thanks for posting your videos, but it's very hard to understand and there is also background noise...you might want to check it out, and redo it.

i agree....use the commands to get the job done. instead of playing with buttons all day.
