  • @technicalguitarist26 Yeah thats probably why brilliant musicians like David Bowie etc. are big fans of Daniel Johnston. Even weirder I enjoyed 4 years of musical training (not the american ABC crap), played 3 years afterwards in an orchestra, know how to play saxophone, guitar, blues harp/diatonic harmonica and I find his music amazing and love it. I'm sorry you got your head up your ass and can't see the beauty of the simplicity and honesty of his music. BTW Daniel plays the piano pretty good.

  • @technicalguitarist26 No it couldn't. Because the fat chick would be prom queen just because she's fat. Daniel is on stage because he write's songs most song writers can't even come up with in their dreams, not because he has problems or people pitty him. He made it to be a well respected artist unregardless his psychopathological problems. And it is amusing to see him create brilliant music with so much love and passion even if he sometimes suffers greatly.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!! he is the highest expression of art, for me.

  • @technicalguitarist26 cool you don't like him, but thats just, like, your opinion man.

  • There are people who would prefer the bland auto-tuned drek that is played on mainstream radio today over this. And people with "musical training" who wouldn't "get" Daniel's genius. It's not about being able to play the notes perfectly or making commercially viable music to some people. To some people, it's about getting on stage and pouring your heart out. It's about being real. It's about describing the world as you see it, even if it's totally fucked up. That is Daniel. He's awesome.

  • technicalguitar26is lame and a troll

  • @proudwesterner2 Entirely. Any person with any musical training would know instantly that this is an EPIC fail. Just because people say something is cool and/or good, doesn't make it so.

  • @technicalguitarist26 Oh, you can't be fucking serious.

  • The saddest thing I've ever seen/heard in my entire life. Putting this individual on stage could be compared to voting for the fat chic for prom queen. It's not funny, guys. It's not amusing. He clearly has problems.

  • I feel good because I dig this.
