this low resolution LED translation of video footage of ocean waves is seen as digital information at the top of the piece, merging into analog form at the bottom. a sheet of plexiglas in front of the LED panel visually "resolves" the moving imagery, which slows down to a motionless frame (a different frame each time), and then speeds up to real time.
