Entering the giant panda bear nursery in Wolong (China) and playing with them! The bears are 8-9 months of age, but are huge! My translator was of course rather scared of them, girls :p

@nanabellelee It's called the Woolong Panda Reserve, anyone can visit, but you have to pay to enter the actual enclosure, before which they ask a series of questions regarding your health etc. Nearest city, Chendgu :)

What are you doing picking them up, or even stroking them? If the Chinese ever want to release them into the wild, they won't be able to because they'll be too used to "friendly" humans and won't be able to adapt. You have no respect for wildlife.

Oh I envy you! How I would love to go and meet some panda cubs. Aren't they alittle scary, though? So big and heavy, and they sit around in such large numbers too.. I wanna sit around with them and just play all day!!!!

There were surprisingly heavy, which you can see if you watch the other two videos as well, particularly when they crawled all over me then slimed me :p We met the bears just after their noon nap so they were gathered around. Usually you do not find so many bears in ne pace, but as this was the nursery at the breeding center there was such a large concentration of them :)

I'm certain they would make wonderful pets, they just seem to sit around the place and eat! Pity there are so few of them in the world today, live on panda breeding centers!
