  • There's an uneducated opinion if I've ever seen one.

Consider a chemical company producing dangerous food additives. The company is aware of the danger but does not notify the public or withdraw its product. Is there really any choice for the person in danger?

Consider a public good, such as clean air. Should it be free for a company to pollute the air, thereby causing cancer and asthma in thousands of innocents? Or should those who breathe air be expected to, somehow, find new unpolluted air?

  • @irishbull777 they're actually not that different in several key areas...which is kinda cool considering how divided the U.S. is right now.

  • We need to win the war on anti western democracy. either you are for the west winning or just join the other side and leave America. I will pay for your ticket.

  • Since you appear to be more knowledgeable, why don't you enlighten me?

  • You are an uninformed goof. You don't know shit about Nader.

  • @Jowind you make a solid point

  • If the company hides risks inherent in their products then that's another matter. Nader however wants to ban risky products even if the risks are familiar to the costumer. That's unnecessary, costly and depending on Naders judgement sometimes even bad.

  • I just listened to Chris Hedges speech and he seemed to like Ralph Nadar and so I am listening to him more.
