V for Vendetta is an amazing film. My dad is a big fan of the graphic novel and I picked it up, started reading, fell in love with Valerie's love story between her and her lover, Ruth. I watched the film and the scene where Evey is reading the letter written by Valerie is so beautiful so yeah.

THIS IS MERELY A FAN VIDEO AND I AM NOT PROFITING FROM THIS. I OWN BOTH THE DVD AND THE GRAPHIC NOVEL, SO I HAVE PAID MY WAY FOR THESE MEDIAS. People act so harsh and cruelly towards it; but in the end, eventually all the people you hate will wind up in your family. My dad's friend hated gay people and wound up with three gay sons. One of the best scenes in the movie. it's very touching. I wish you had excluded the background music, it's much more effective scene with Valerie telling her story.

There's a theory among "comic-nerds" that the story on the toilet-paper may have been Vs story (which he cannot remember clearly but we never find out why he was arrested in the first place). Seems like the sort of thing Alan Moore would come up with. This kind of 'unmentioned homosexuality'-theme can also be found in Watchmen.
