    And the transmitter does need to be connected to a power supply.

  • Does this work for ipod?

  • @riggparkstephen It can... only indoors. You need your iPod hooked up to the transmitter so you cant take it everywhere. Only within range of the transmitter. You can optionally buy a portable transmitter, i think, but they are costly.

  • So the input is analog 3.5MM jack? Analog is lame. No receiver equipment has analog outputs anymore except the headphone jack on the front of the unit which you have to manually plug in when you want to use it. Why don't wireless headphones have digital TOSLINK (optical) inputs like the gaming headphones (e.g. TurtleBeach X41)?
