  • today, my fin cut into my leg after i fell on a really, REALLY steep wave, it cut to the bone

  • To nootaramus, it doesn't matter to have a fat nose and deep concave. I have a thick and very narrow board that noserides very well and the fin performs better shoved all the way forward. Not every board works one way for noseriding. And for those who will say a fatter nose works better, it really doesn't matter. It's preference. Alex Knost rides really narrow boards with an insanely narrow nose. Great video!

  • I've been surfing for over 55+ years and learned something from your video. Though I respect your choice of fin selection and your reasoning, I've found for myself, I use a different set up. I use the FCS carbon fiberG-CRV's Curved fin model with the smallest center fin I can find. The center fin keeps me going in a straight line, the outside fins, help me turn very quickly and the don't pop out nor have that slip, side sliding effect. I live in Hanalei, Kauai. Enjoy'd your tutorial ! Mahalo!

  • your tips reallly helped me progress my noserides. it is hard to find a good wave in new york here for it but the next segment helped with that

  • does that guy have man tits ? or is it a really ugly girl or just what.

btw, nose riding is about feel- if you are really into it, get a wide round nose board with lots of concave under the nose, 9' + put the fin as far back as you can and practice prancing to the nose..

  • take a look at noseriding-pro . com as well

  • Is that an A-1A shape? Where did that come from and when?

  • my buddy just shaped me a 9'3 and he recommended a 9" fin, not too much rake but not too little, something to give stability but also manuverability

  • You're right about rake. I bought a banana fin and boy does it resist turns!

Lots of good tips in this vid. Can you divulge the make and size of that fin? What would be good for a 9 6?

    Thanks!
