Premiered in June 2008 by Houston Ballet, A Doll's House depicts a battle between dolls after the toy shop closes. Welch uses Japanese anime as an inspiration for the movement and costumes. Set to music by Istvan Marta.

  • I'd love to see the lead ballerina/doll in this play Victoria from CATS. She would be spectacular!

  • Ah a popping ballerina that actually does the hits to the wave correctly, doing mechanical moves while looking like a modest lady, and wearing black pointe shoes, now you have my attention, and props, soo many ballerinas think hip hop is just all hips and nothing but pop dances about shaking their junk, and that they can just appropriate the moves and it is all the same, it is not, hip hop is a dance just as hard as any other if you do it right.
