  • i love the guy chirping about all the rights and freedoms he has, but everyone he stated was in the american constitution, but we live in canada.... hmmm funny how people mess that up

  • Canadian Charter....

    Fundamental freedoms

    2. Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms:

    (a) freedom of conscience and religion;

    (b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;

    (c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and

    (d) freedom of association

    What part of that is American???

    Please explain where you get your rights.

  • I was on my way to jail if I didn't leave. I also have a clear as day audio recording. I was told LEAVE or be ARRESTED.

    That was my options.

  • To think what was so offensive to Eddie..."Eddie and the Spenders" Pay raises at times like these? Shame! And local media refuses to cover a story that a local citizen is threatened with arrest for protesting government policy?????

  • Security. Even so they are private citizens. He was talking about his rights with them. Now even though they asked him to be here, and he thought his rights were violated, they were not. Now the police officer who came and told him to leave or be arrested was a Charter violation. Because every single person in Canada has the right to peaceful assembly. Now peaceful assembly can also mean peaceful protest. Its the same thing, wether it is a lone protest, or if you are with many people.

  • @tgrant4114

    you want to elaborate on that? Who was the security guard?

  • Actually, although those rights are Canadian, they only apply to governmental functions Vs. Citizen, because this man was a Security Guard (no authority) he is a private citizen.

  • This is from last year and yet the info section in the sign bar speaks of it as if this situation was created as a result of the current issue at hand. Doesn't this video feed an ignorant fire?

  • so he was retrained

    great good for him

    guess who financed his retraining

    cupe workers

    and GM workers

    do you think you did?

    you work under the table and pay nothing to this city

    have your uncle go down to a picket and thank them for being there for him
