@islamvideoreview Sorry, Nouman Ali Khan appears to be intelligent and makes a good presentation. But he also tells a load of rubbish. For instance, he claimed that Muslim scientists were completely unimpressed by the discoveries of Galileo and Copernicus, because they allegedly knew all this from the Qur'an. In fact, Muslim scientists assumed a geocrentric worldview until the 16th century. You believe in one-sided propaganda, there is nothing miraculous in the Qur'an...

That's just rubbish, its the typical view of someone who ignores a whole history. Its because of a man named Muhammad that the Europeans learned to bathe, grew a love for gardens, have university systems that we use today, even the traditional Oxford academic dress is from the muslims, one of the few things that they actually acknowledge, there's so much more, people are ignorant.

Well that's basically a god of the gaps, used when we don't know how something works, the process behind it, and we just say God does it, but when we do find out, God is not needed. The Islamic belief about God isn't compatible with god of the gaps, whether we know how something works or not, we believe God is the one that controls it ultimately.

@Requiem20101 For someone who doesn't believe in a Creator, you sure have a strong opinion as to how a Prophet should be? Why is that?
FYI: Dealing with one topic at a time, trying something different, can't talk about 5 at once it won't get us anywhere.

@islamvideoreview He failed miserably at being a ‘prophet’ in that he was the only ‘prophet’ who wallowed in war sex death & control. So what if there are 1.5 billion Muslims? The human mind just can’t let go of this worthless baggage from the last two thousand years, dwells on it like a comfort blanket that is all. Because of Muhammad mankind is basically standing at a precipice waiting to fall.

@Requiem20101 Did he fail miserably, you want facts. In 23 years he set the base for one of the largest Empires in history. Today 1.5 Billion Muslims associate themselves with what he single handedly established. 1/5 of the worlds population...
Not sure how that is a failure? What is your gauge for success or failure?

You see Gary I acquire my knowledge through facts. You for some unknown reason have taken a leap of faith (terrible pun I know, but hey) & simply decided that a God is the answer to everything that seems beyond your comprehension of having other answers (no offense). Fair enough if you want to believe in fairytales, that’s your prerogative, but making your kids believe in it is something else.

@islamvideoreview There are theories but obviously it is near impossible to know for sure. But you cannot just state God created it. What proof is that meant to be?????

@Requiem20101 I can't state that God created as that is what I believe and I believe it for many reasons. Many proofs around us.
We (Muslims) believe there is plenty of evidence to support a unique creator and NOT because "You have to have faith" as Christians will say.
One evidence is the Quran. Its a long video but it is a good example of why we believe. Agree or not it is what we believe.
