even if its pushing 22psi imports take a lot more power to produce torque and torque is what helps excelleration and that cobra seemed like it barely had anything done to it-the full bolt on treatment ($1500)and the terminator will easily produce 450 hp to the wheels so do your homework before saying what a car will put down and 22psi is a lot of boost to barely keep up with what looked like a stock cobra-SAD

idk why u guys are suprised the GSX kept up. im actually suprised it didnt win.....if its running 22PSI that thing should be pushing 400-500 at the wheels, as for the mustang only having intake and exhaust prolly only about 350

Wow that was alot closer than I expected. Usually AWD lacks in the top end due to the drive train loss but that thing hauled ass! Can't wait to get my GSX there! What are the mods on that GSX?

I have to agree with ZichaMatrix, The 4g63 is an engine that produces incredible amounts of torque, often being higher than their horsepower. Also, how can you tell its "Bearly" stock by just looking at the rear of the car through the entire video. None the less, both are sexy and incredibly powerful machines.

not with the 4g63 motor every time you do something to upgrade HP on a dsm motor it pretty much increases the torque the same amount

@atkinsontony There is only 15-17% drivetrain loss on most rwd cars including the 03/04 cobras. Besides theres is a vid of a bone stock 03 on some horsepower tv show getting dyno'd. Made 364 rwhp bone stock!!! Not to mention I own a 04 cobra I would know(438rwhp) w/ just jlt cai, 2.76 upper w/ 100mm idler. plus tune.

@tuscanigtv6 Are you crazy the 03/04 cobra's make anywhere from 360 to 380rwhp. Ford under rated the bhp at 390 when in it was actually making around 430bhp.  I don't know where your getting 320-30ish from kid but you need to do some research. Then apologize to all these people for being such a retard....

@TheRaptor2323 yeah your right...my 91gsx keeps up with bolt on n tuned terminators tht push 400to the wheels....the cobra is 390hp rated motor...on the wheels about 320 ish....330 ish...a 400whp gsx wud own tht cobra...

@BStowers023 no a stock 2003/04 cobra has a 390 crank hp its a supercharged 32 valve 4.6 so stock it has more then 350 to the tires unless the drive train pulls at least 60 to 70 hp out of it i dont think so guy its probably closer to 400 in this vid which is why the race turned out the way it did
