This is a good example of Mathews playing true to his show's name--HARDBALL!

Unfortunately, once Mathews interviews a Democrat, he never accurately changes the show's name to "SOFTBALL with Chris Matthews"

How does this video EVEN show bias... Chris Matthew simply asked him questions on social issues that help define a person's political stance: abortion, how much government should be involved in economic issues (in these case, the private sector), etc. The ONLY reason that Matthews brought up the issue of Obama's citizenship or "birther" movement is because Toomey defines himself as a Republican, and that is an issue that 30% Republicans (at least at that time) had with Obama .

I can't wait till Mathews is standing/sitting with his mouth open...when the truth comes out about his Savior! I am a birther! Where is the Birth CERTIFICATE? Not the image one on the PC but the HARD COPY! Why did the head of the health dept (resigned) said she actually held it and saw it, (this statement was before the digital release of the WH) and it was half typed and half handwritten. Then the release: It is ALL typed and only handwritten where there are signatures! FRAUD! Research Chris!

@gazz12345a I'm liberal. This is biased. Like, unbelievably biased. I don't watch MSNBC, or ANY American news station, truthfully it's ALL Biased. ABC, CNN, and yes, even FOX news. Incredibly biased. There is no news station in America that gives us the news, plain and simple. There is always an opinion floating around, there's always some red-faced anchor yelling at his "opponent" for having a different viewpoint.

The liberal media does use all those "tricks" mentioned below. Have you ever seen the unedited Katie Couric- Sarah Palin interview? I dont like Palin AT ALL, but that interview was doctored so that you didn't hear all of each particular question Palin was asked. So when sho seemed to ramble on like an idiot, she was actually touching each topic that Couric had mentioned. This is a tactic that basically all outlets will use, either because of bias or to make a story "better"
