the uk have the strictest gun patrols on the planet whereas the us have it as a right in the constitution plus a us citizen can kill in self defence but if someone breaks in to a uk citizens house and ties up their family they cant even harm them without being arrested it seems so bullshit to me.

@MATTNATTMATT Not completely but the legislation set up after the Dunblane massacre means that its so stupidly difficult to own, licence and store Firearms in the UK that most people who did, don't any more.

It is not the responsibility of law enforcement to defend a citizen unless he/she is present and has probable cause to believe the shooter is commenting a crime. e.g. The shootee may be the criminal! A police is responsible for investigating A crime! Personal defense is your responsibility! Read the constitution. Maybe ya will get lucky and a con. carry will save your life but they are not obligated to do so and put themselves civil/criminal risk to do so. Please don't kill me!!! Bad Answer...

Langdon04 not only Americans carry guns and knives on a daily basis in fact most of Central, South America and the Caribbean allow its citizens to carry guns with few exceptions like Canada and Mexico...yea Mexico is the most crime ridden country in the region but yet they have the most "gun control" GO FIGURE THAT ONE OUT HUH.

I'm afraid of the 9+ minutes (average) it takes the police in my home town to respond to an emergency call. I can't speak for the video maker, but I don't carry a gun because feel I have to "protect society." I carry my gun because it absolutely IS my responsibility AND right to protect MYSELF and MY family.

Everyone's life is precious and priceless; at least I know mine is. Statistics show that Switzerland has the most gun available to its people and yet has the least crime rate. Over all here in the US our crime rate is still far less than many countries with way stricter gun control laws.
Criminals know how and wer to get guns and other weapons to harm innocent and law abiding citizens. Taking guns away from people or making it harder to get just gives would be assailants the upper hand...
