not at all a piece of crap.

Hey Nate - Nice picking. I've got a 1946 Gibson L7 with a 1951 D'Armond single pole pick-up that is sort of a big sister or maybe cousin to this little guitar. You sure make it sound good. Thanks to bigbeninjax for sending me over here.

Hi, I was just wondering, as I have just bought a Tenor Guitar... What tuning do you have yours in? I've been tuning mine to C,G,D,A.

Great picking man. I play on an old Martin Tenor. I mostly use it when I'm playing rhythm behind Texas fiddle players. I play this tune on the standard acoustic guitar. I actually taught it on my channel last week. I've been posting free lessons for guitar and fiddle. I'll also be putting em on my website at FiddlinMIke. com

Really nice playing!

If you don't want that "piece of crap" I would be happy to take it.

You play well, man. 'Fisher's Hornpipe' is by far my favorite traditional song ever

It is I'd say. Hornpipe is celtic anyway. I think i'd rather th tenor banjo though
Yeah, thats what I tune it to. I use the four middle strings of a heavy guitar set, sometimes substituting the high E string for the B string(the A of the tenor), because the B string gets dangerously tight and snaps regularly. You can do the same thing to an electric guitar, take off the low E and sub the high E for the B. Tune it A,E,B,F#. plays like a long scale tenor and sounds great.
