These two units were working their way east on the BNSF mainline just east of Spokane WA on 4/8/2008. One doesn't want to get too close - the Surfacer throws rocks at you! After they pass we see 3 signalmen re-attaching bond wires.

  • Sorry the first machine is a Plasser tamper the second is as stated below. They would ballast clean brush then tamp then finally DTS. Unless its not a ballest cleaner and only a regulator

  • Thats not a tamper its a ballats cleaner, DTS (dynamic track stabiliser) and ballast brush
