Warming up a choir is important to good singing. Here I am leading the choir warm-ups. I address vowel shapes and good breathing to help our choir sing better.

  • Haha, we do this in choir. XD

  • Why two keyboard persons? Obviously the active person is at the fortepiano and (she) must be quite short as only the fringe of the top of her head shows. I keep listening (and watching) but cannot discern the function of the man (who looks just like me) who is seated at the digital keyboard. (Implied question) . . . I do thank you for posting this and hope you will do another with additional examples and funcitons.

  • this is great except i cannot hear what you say about their vowels

  • Thank you for posting this. I am new at conducting and this will be very helpful.

  • this is about the most uninspiring warm up I have ever seen - it is possible to warm up a choir and seem alive at the same time

  • This is good choral directing. Where is this choir located?

  • Warm ups are boring, they are always the same! Same order, Same ones. I wish my teacher would mix it up sometimes.

We do like the exact same ones as you (:

  • thanks 4 posting really helped me out when i was in chorus :)

  • Thank you for uploading this video, it sure can be helpful to us enthusiasts

  • dude walk right pass him lol
