Played by Michiel Roosen in "Het Concertgebouw van Amsterdam" on a Steinway&Sons Concert grand piano. My apologizes for the bad sound quality.

  • I am just trying to be helpful. First, I think that was way too fast. It looks like you tried to think before you started playing. Taking a few deep breaths and even closing your eyes and thinking of the first few measures in your head is a great way to not let the tempo get the best of you. Second, going backwards when you make a mistake or get lost is a big no and that can be prevented by always thinking ahead in the music even when you are practicing.

  • This was very well played. I liked how you voiced the part at 1:06 -- 1:08 differently from the same passage at 1:12 -- 1:16. It sounded quite effective, and not many pianists do this kind of "voicing" between the hands. Regarding the tiny mistake earlier on the first page: who cares? You recovered, kept right on going, and played the other 98% of the piece extremely well -- including all the much more difficult sections! Bravo!!.

  • @joelpiano2000 But I like Your Playing. You Make This piece to very Brilliant Prelude

  • You Make Some Mistakes

  • That woman in the background seems to be enjoying herself

  • De opening speel je echt veel te snel en te luid, en je maakt natuurlijk rare fouten. Komt zeker door de zenuwen, of niet? Het middenstuk is namelijk technisch gezien best goed! Je moet wel werken aan de interpretatie...

  • @Handeltasche and where are your videos of it? :)

  • I love this piece, and you played it (and all of your other posts!) spectacularly!

  • this piece and op23 no5 are the official wannebe pieces of rachmaninoff....they look very difficult but they arent.....I can play both and im 16

  • Geweldig hoe je die eerste fout weet op te lossen door gewoon terug te gaan naar die zware tonen.. Iets te snel, maar dat vind ik persoonlijk.

  • Bravo!! Very good!!
