A kid named Bus finds a dead bird in his backyard. Not realizing it's dead, he tries nursing it back to health.

We use a Panasonic DV Camera (DVX100B), edit on a Apple G5 Powermac with Final Cut Pro, and we use a low-professional level shotgun microphone (Audio Technica 897). The setup's served us very well. Thanks for the kind words too.
