@PieRulesFJD yes it does but only if the 2 songs are within 10% of tempo of each other - otherwise the time-stretching will speed up or slow down your next track too much. In that case a sound effect is used between the tracks and a soon to be released update allows you to have them cross-fade smoothly in this case without a sound effect as well.
