Sometimes you will go to a timeshare sales pitch and the salespeople and sales manager will try their best to pressure you into making a purchase you are not sure about. Do not get backed into a corner by high pressure salespeople. If they are applying heavy pressure, it's often because they are trying to get you to purchase a bad product or because they are not good at their job. Either way, these people only have a sale on their mind, and they are not worried about you and your future vacations. If you feel overly pressured by a salesperson, walk away and say no. You have no obligation to purchase from them, especially if they are being aggressive to the point of obnoxiousness. You need a clear head when you are making a major purchase like a timeshare, and high pressure salespeople will not help you achieve that. And don't worry, there are plenty of nice timeshare salespeople who won't try to pressure you into a decision you don't want to make.

I owned a timeshare and sold it. I regret selling it and the quality of my vacations

has gone downhill. Don't go into a sales presentation if you don't want to be sold.

That my opinion. People that go into get a free gift and expect not to be sold are losers.

Time share sales presentations are NOT worth whatever they dangle to get you to come. DON'T DO IT!!!! It will be the most sleezy, stressful, high-pressure sales experience that you will ever encounter. Those sales people are relentless and they will play various mind games designed to ware you down until you sign on the dotted line. They will even stoop to putting a couple against each other. It doesn't even make sense to go into all that debt. Helllloooo!!! That's why God invented hotels.

Timeshares reps are usually drop outs who are too stupid to read legal contracts, so it looks like they are lying. Better to just read the paper on your own without the presentation.

Not all timeshare is bad.......Some of the biggest names like Disney operate a timeshare package. Its like everything in life. If you buy a bad car, it wont stop you driving. You will just buy a good one next time!

She has no idea!! Greed brings most to presentations ie. free gifts or free marketing holidays. As a consequence, they are sold on the greed factor. Its simple. If you are cheap enough to scrounge a free trip as long as u do a presentation, then you take all that comes with it. Dont like it, go to a travel agent!! Truth is, the clever sales manager will close the individual by taking it away, not offering the deal. The client will close himself.....No pressure in that!
