"Clean" energy bill passes House high costs and smart grids are coming

The Stench of Truth 179 The 2009 "clean" energy bill has passed the House and the new higher costs for energy are the least of your worries if this is passed into law. Buried inside is smart grid implementation and peak demand reduction. It won't happen overnight but in the end "they" will decide how much power you're allowed to have and when you exceed it you will be cut off. Call your senator and tell them to stop this monstrosity. There is more coming after this, water will be next.

The true issue at hand and choice being made is about using taxpayer money to either keep the people oppressed as energy consumers or empowering them to become energy producers, selling alternative power created by solar homes and small business to corporations which are currently energy subsidized by public funding of large centralized power plants giving low rates to corporate entities who consume huge quantities of energy.

they want to lower consumption of Electricity

from carbon sources yet they allow illegals who previously lived in mud huts to swamp American cities.

Eventually Americans will mostly all live up by the Canadian border and on the hydro electric grid.

i find myself sad and emotional this morning over this, because the majority, dont know, nor do they care. They may care enuf to piss and moan, as typical americans love to do, but they will remain passive, and let this go as they do everything else. I like sitting on the sidelines watching a train wreck......

Water is already being privatized in South America. Energy caps would be a good thing, if it would benefit everyone, but this bill will do exactly the OPPOSITE: those rich enough to avoid the caps will be making huge amounts of profits on the backs of those, who can't. It has nothing to do with CLEAN energy, it has to do with more speculation on Wall Street in order to gain even more control over BASIC

even the new homes being built dont meet the changing benchmark of low carbon foot prints..and it was the Gov that set it out in the first place...
