I'm disgusted that they would gas these geese. Where I live we have plenty of geese, that walk there babies across the street and on peoples lawns and then go back to the areas of water they came from. There is even a law stating you have to slow down for the geese and ducks. We live with the geese in peace and don't kill them because they poop. Since when are people more important then animals.

While some are killing Canada Geese, we are saving them at International Bird Rescue Research Center. Killing a healthy animal isn't right. The general public can help by NOT feeding wild waterfowl. Please, no breadcrumbs (which are bad for them and can cause wing deformities), which attracts them. Thank you for posting tis video. FIVE STARS!

humans poop alot... why arent we gassed!??
TREAT ANIMALS FAIRLY!!!!

First, this video is biased. Using gas as euthanasia is humane and if possible meat is donated to food banks. Second, geese populations are climbing in number and need controlled. Without a natural predator present in cities, populations will grow (water quality/disease concerns). These methods used are valuable tools, but are incomplete. Geese become habituated to such tactics. These methods come under scrutiny by animal rights activists as well and they do not speak for the majority.

Thank you for your suggestion of my adding "Snobbledobble Ducks" as a video response.

It's great to see that these geese are being handled in a humane and peaceful way.
It's interesting that people hate the geese so much and kill them just cause they poop, but then those people will go out and spend hundreds of dollars on fertilizer and compost (which is essentially poop)
