We use a Bushnell Trophy Cam for wildlife surveillance. Its a great way to discover what kind of animals lurk around when you are not watching.

  • I just got the same camera, works well but when I hook up the USB cable to the computer it takes maybe 2-5 minutes for the computer to recognize the camera. Is that normal?

  • @kim8839 My computer recognizes the TrophyCam within several seconds. I have not had a problem with it yet. But, I have had this problem with other cams. I have a Flipcam-My computer doesn't even recognize it anymore. I have had other cameras that take a long time to recognize, very frustrating! I think it has something to do with the computer.. but I am not real savvy with fixing computer glitches such as this. I would love to know how to get my computer to recognize my FlipCam again :(

  • I just bought this camera today. How do you like yours so far? Any problems?

  • No problems yet, I like it pretty well. The small screen can be hard to see in certain conditions, though.

  • Cool. I was thinking about getting their new 2011 black IR but two of the three reviews on Amazon said bad things about it. And they cost kinda a lot, too.

  • Great camera ! Bought a couple XLT and they make very good pics and videos. Over here in Europe, we even have a website from buschnell to upload our pictures and films. you can see our european animals on the website : trophycam.fr

  • Thanks I that helps me a lot on my next can choice.

  • @smokentarus batteries last about a year, depending on use, mines lost a third of its battery power since xmas last year. Used it for about 6 weeks in total, filled up with pictures after a week or so each time. manuel explains time delays but the variables are pretty wide from like zero to an hour i think.

  • how long does the batteries last and what setings are there for time delay? and thanks for your help.

  • Is the camera still working right? In the reviews I have read people have said they don't work to good in colder weather. Have you had yours out in colder temps? Thanks.
