By the way, if you are wondering, i am an LSU student who participates in the chant. If it is banned, I honestly would not care that much. And why, do you ask? Because either way, ITS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL. Thank you for your time, and have a pleasant life : ]

Actions as serious as those are actions that you should be condemning. Not a chant that has no serious, tangible effect on others. I am curious to know whether or not the chant could be heard on the television broadcast. Plain and simple, if you are watching tv and don't like hearing the chant, then mute the TV until the chant is over. You can even take it a step further and write a letter to the LSU Administration condemning the chant and requesting that the chant be banned.

@lucillereal: Please. You would do well to temper your overinflated sense of self-righteousness. It's simply a chant. A set of words. To my knowledge, (as i am also an LSU student) i do not know of any collections of LSU students that are breaking windows of establishments, flipping cars over, or engaging in the very serious type of detrimental behavior that students from other institutions have engaged in as a result of some type of achievement of their respective college team.
