  • The point of alot of performance art usually escapes me, but the visuals on the buildings are beautiful and poignnnant telling a story at night. The auctioning matches the percussion and builds with the music in volume and speed. The percussionists are shown playing almost slow motion in the background. With Ryan coming in and increasing the tempo and bringing it to a great climax. This video is beautiful wish I could have been there to see it in person!

  • it's fantastic !! Love it!!

  • thats one of the wierdest things i have seen

  • lol try a little harder

  • I've always found those auctioning types fascinating and this whole video is just awesome! Plus Ryan Donowho is always a plus <3

  • Rock it out Ryan!!! Rock it out!!!

  • I'm in an art history class and we're writing a paper on contemperary art. We had a list of things we could choose to write about online and this is my favorite. This is really cool.

  • Ryan Donowho's playing is so whack

  • From an Atken in Scotland . Awsome ! Good to know ther are more of us who are out of it . the norm , the dark . oh and hello from wee Isla Aitken !

  • The first shot is haunting not unlike Blade Runner juxtaposed against the fog. That milieu gets lost immediately in the "bidding." Where art somehow becomes the art of the auction. There's a "sixties" thing to it especially with the accouterment. Backward. Forward. Still looking for the thread. Then, aha, hanging in the wind. You could maintain there is no thread (and that is fine). But the parting shot is thread again. -- Tim Barrus
