The point of alot of performance art usually escapes me, but the visuals on the buildings are beautiful and poignnnant telling a story at night. The auctioning matches the percussion and builds with the music in volume and speed. The percussionists are shown playing almost slow motion in the background. With Ryan coming in and increasing the tempo and bringing it to a great climax. This video is beautiful wish I could have been there to see it in person!

I'm in an art history class and we're writing a paper on contemperary art. We had a list of things we could choose to write about online and this is my favorite. This is really cool.

The first shot is haunting not unlike Blade Runner juxtaposed against the fog. That milieu gets lost immediately in the "bidding." Where art somehow becomes the art of the auction. There's a "sixties" thing to it especially with the accouterment. Backward. Forward. Still looking for the thread. Then, aha, hanging in the wind. You could maintain there is no thread (and that is fine). But the parting shot is thread again. -- Tim Barrus
