Dungeon Keeper Intro

The introduction movie to the game Dungeon Keeper which had me hooked through most of my early teenage years.

***FAQ:***
*RUNNING THE GAME ON WINDOWS XP OR VISTA*
For those of you having trouble playing Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2 on Windows XP and Vista; I recommend either running it in "Compatibility Mode" (right click executable, select "Properties", select "Compatibility" tab, tick "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows 95" or "Windows 98" from the list), or try running the game through DosBox (www.dosbox.com) which is a free, perfectly legal DOS emulator. Unfortunately this does not work for everybody.

Some people have claimed they can get the game working on a virtual PC running an older release of Windows (e.g. Windows 98). If you want to try this, search Google for "Sun VirtualBox" which is a free virtualisation program.

Some people can get Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2 to work just fine without any changes; others cannot get the games to work at all, no matter what they do.

As a last resort, I recommend throwing twenty imps into your temple to appease the dark gods and hope that they reward you with a working copy of the game.

*WHERE IS DUNGEON KEEPER 3?*
Bullfrog went under years ago.You can read about the company's history on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullfrog...).

Bullfrog was absorbed by EA, who have never stated they will continue the franchise. No one else has expressed wishes to work on Dungeon Keeper 3.

So Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2 are likely to be the last you'll ever see of the Horned Reaper unless he appears in Super Smash Brothers or something.

idk if you have read or heard about War for the Overworld, but is has a kickstart going one and they are planing on making the "spiritual successor" to DK, its a new game so none of the DK ceatures will be in it, but i have played the demo and if feel exactly like DK,

i suggest people check it out.

Though in hindsight the intro looks kind of lame now this was no doubt one of the best games out at the time, so original, so fresh, I would suggest there hasn't been this kinda of originality in the games market since. I put so many hours into this, C&C, Red Alert, Monkey Island 3, Broken Sword 2, Unreal Tournament, Rome TW, thumbs up you were the same?

Maybe your memory is failing you then. I played DK quite recently (about a year ago, so recently possibly in comparison to you... possibly), and remember having several of them.

You must've sacrificed a good deal of monsters......Unless theres several methods of spawning hornies that I'm unaware of.

Unless my memory failed me I recall hornies fight each other even in temples.

I've had about 7 hornies at one point when my opponent (brother) was becoming very annoying (he turtled and was training up a bunch of dragons and bile demons etc). I had a gigantic temple that kept the hornies happy and gave me a few tentacles!

He had no idea why he only had 0 creatures by the end. :)
