Ironic Phish Summer Tour 2011 Video Announcement

Phish continues to hate on 80% of the country. They are doing a summer tour playing the same tired venues in the same tired states. Somehow that means fans are finding an oasis in the desert.

This video would be more fitting if they were actually playing somewhere new, or somewhere they havent played a dozen times in the last year.

Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana could really use some dates! Now that would be a true oasis in the desert

You know, I don't usually respond to this, but how can you say any of that? How exactly are they "shitting" on the places they aren't playing? Seeings how you, more than likely have no idea what it's like to be in a massively famous band and to plan dates, I would just shut up. It makes you look really arrogant, and ignorant for that matter. Phish is an amazing band, and some of the nicest musicians around. Time to see things from two sides.

I know a thing or two about the music industry. I know just about every band under the sun is no afraid to play different markets the way that Phish is.

Nobody is asking Phish to permanently stop shitting on 80% of the country the way they always do. Just one normal tour outside of the same tired markets would be nice.

Every other "massively famous band" seems to be able to tour outside of the same 10 cities. Why is Phish so afraid to do the same?

Bethel Woods one of the newest venues, Killer! Sullivan county NY is not a typical tour spot. Sounds like the hater is the author of this crap !
