Ma che regia per una Medea ............
-
Very good
-
She sounds flat in many places. But very good effort.
-
troppo lenta.
-
la signora Antonacci con Medea proprio non ha nulla a che spartire..
-
Not a dramatic soprano for this role???
You gotta be joking me!
Maybe you think Katheleen Battle would fit this well, or perhaps Natalie Dessay?
-
To MadonnaImperia, concerning consonants and text understanding, I suggest you listen to Caballé's Medea a bit...
-
the role of Medea is not a dramatic soprano and Antonacci doesn't pretend she is one; I heard 2 performances in Turin and both were excellent

dear MadonnaImperia, don't say nonsense - you obviously don't know what you're talking about-Antonacci is a real artist, every role is a personal interpretation, and as you know producers adore her - so, please, dont' be ridiculous; you can agree or disagree, of course, and yes, she's a very peculiar singer- but as an artist, she has very very few terms of comparision - and on stage, in Torino, she was really exciting -
