  • It's videos like this that really show off the power of YouTube. A couple people, a video camera and some software and you're suddenly educating the world on how to be more self-sufficient. No sending away for videos listed in the ads in the backs of magazines you may never come across. Thanks for taking the time and effort to put together your videos!

  • how to do safeguard from dogs??

I just got my chicken killed by dogs twice!!!.. they ripped off the wire mesh just like yours... and am trying to think on how to rebuilt a new coop strong enough and dogproof..

  • poor chickens you couldn't spring for a better roof .just a $5 tarp i bet there so happy under it..what about hawks flying down and snagging them no protection over them or under them.any critter and lift that cheap thing up and have lunch..here's a tip..spend some more money on your chickens and protect them better

  • Again thx for the great videos now I just need to find a like minded woman to build a homestead with :P

  • u seem like a onree bitch

  • Thank you Becky.

  • great host !

  • great Idea !

  • @nuclearspike Not to mention the fact that she is really superb at hosting the video. She really is a pleasant person, soft on the ears and pleasing to listen to. And she really explained it well. Keep up the good work young lady.

  • Chicken wire only keeps in chickens..it does not keep out chicken eaters. Hardware cloth would have made a much safer coop.
