@cruisenadam I always throw out leftover baked potatoes. I don't like leftovers as a rule but this looks like a good idea. I might try it tomorrow.

I actually bake my potatoes for making twice baked. LOL! I use left over baked potatoes the next day for making hash browns, or a fritata (did I spell that right?) Now I have 2 hockey playing boys and they seem to be eating everything in sight these days (kinda reminds me of locust) but they sometimes leave me leftovers to work with. I am really enjoying these videos. Some are old ideas and some are new. Keep making them.

Oh yeah - we do that a lot with our garden harvest because it doesn't heat up the house like canning does....although I do love to can things too...I'd like an outside oven for that though...keep the heat out!
Thanks for the extra tips! Drop one in any time!!
Blessings!

a twice baked potato can be frozen too, this way you might be able to save a few and have enough for your son ;o).

I love eggplant! Trying to grow some this year. I found some at that 'Super Secret Spot' in the grocery store...see this video:

My Very Fave is eggplant parmesan!
YUM
Glad to have your ideas for spices...making me hungry!
Uhhh.... how many people would have actually thrown them out like you said at the beginning of the video? I don't think many people would have.

Sadly I've SEEN it happen.
Not everyone realizes that prepared food can be recycled (so to speak). We do have a pretty 'disposable' society.
Just sharing for those who may not have thought to use them.
