A little tribute to one of our favourite songwriters, and probably the best guitarist to ever break a string.

  • Waw, right im not saying ur bad in any way that sounds perfect v nice man but ur right hand... its so weird... i usually play with my right hand quite curved and relaxed, but ur fingers look so straighhrt and solid.... hmm ..

  • @biglilnicky yeah well spotted... think it's bad technique from being self taught... but have flexible style so play differently for different genres or pieces...

  • what tuning is that song in? probably something very weird yet beautiful sounding right? haha good job with that song

  • Simply drop D, though I've always thought that is beautiful sounding in its own right.

  • Nick would really be happy to hear this...simply beautiful.

Do you cover "Place to Be"? Or "Rider On The Wheel"?

  • Thankyou! That means a lot. I haven't learnt either of those yet, but I'll give it go when I have time. The next Nick is have planned is 'Cello Song. Check out my Road version if you're looking for more Nick.

  • @holzy4565 Tuning is CGCFCE, capo 4. Fingerings are 1 or 2 fingers max. Easy to play.

  • @musological Hey man like i said, didnt mean it in a bad way. If it works for you keep it up :D

  • Good Job mate!

    5*

Did you ever get Cello Song done?

  • @StuartAnthony I learned the CGCFCE way first, but after hearing this version and after trying to get all the extra notes that are actually in the song, with the CGCFCE tuning I could not reach the notes. I'm sure that this version is the way nick played it. I have partially tabbed this version if anyone is interested?

Hats of to you Sebastian and thanks for sharing this.

  • Great cover!

What's the tunning for this song?

    DGCFAD?

    Thanx

  • nicks tuning dadgaf#

  • hey dude , isnt nicks tuning dadgaf# ?? either way if you use the cgcfce you need a capo .. mines on the d tuning ...
