The hypothesis is that plants that are told they have a purpose will grow the tallest. This is a Science Fair project, to begin testing the hypothesis. There were three different plants in each group: wheatgrass, pea sprouts, and radish sprouts. The first group shown in the video was a control group. The second was "talked" to (it was actually recorded) for half an hour, twice a day being told they would not be eaten, but thrown away. The third group was told, for half an hour, twice a day, that they would be eaten and enjoyed. All three groups had the same conditions, watering, etc.
