In North America the Indian tends to disappear, but also to some extent mingles with the whites, and a strain of Indian blood is not, like negro blood, regarded as a disgrace. Nearly all the races of modern Europe and Asia are the result of fusions between conquerors and conquered, and the weaker elements have been eliminated by slaughter or breeding, or by both combined. But the African has hitherto shown no sign, either in his own continent or in America, of yielding to either process".

Nice vid. But you fail to mention that that equal relationship was broken when 2 white indentured servants & 1 black indentured survant working for the same master ran away from there duties, that is a violation of their contract of there servitude. When caught the 2 white men got 20 lashes a piece. The black man was given servitude for LIFE. That's what set the tone for racial slavery (along with the Pope's decree to make racial slavery good in the sight of God)
